R3-MYDAS enables and accelerates the transition of the manufacturing industry to more sustainable, and circular value chains.

It focuses on the development of a multi-actor framework, integrating innovative digital technologies, advanced mechatronics and newly developed approaches from social sciences and humanities, for functionally, environmentally and economically sustainable circular value chains for remanufacturing of energy goods at the industrial level.

R3-MYDAS proves the reliability and replicability of remanufacturing through the development and validation of three demo cases, targeting the following energy goods: Oil & Gas components, E-vehicles batteries, and Wind turbines gearboxes.

R3-MYDAS Objectives

The primary objectives of R3-MYDAS is to:

Develop a multi-actor framework, integrating innovative digital technologies (Machine Learning for process and quality control, Marketplace, Graph Models for defects detection, Digital Twins).

Develop advanced mechatronics (Additive Manufacturing, Laser-Cladding, Automated disassembly/reassembly).

Develop newly approaches from social sciences and humanities (extended Integrated Technology Acceptance/Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology models, ethics and legal framework).
